Adam Farouk is a Malaysian musician, producer, writer, and entrepreneur, currently based in the United States. He is known for his integrative approach to the creative arts, and frequently infuses his works with unlikely combinations of style and influence.

Adam was born in Penang, an island off the northwest coast of Malaysia, known as much for its melting pot culture as for its extraordinary street cuisine. His childhood, spent mostly in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s cultural capital, was punctuated by travel to various destinations about South East Asia, Europe, and the United States. This exposure from a young age to a wide variety of cultures was instrumental in his establishing the integrative style that has come to define his creative work.

Adam has worked extensively across genres, from a cappella to cabaret, from world music to contemporary pop. He has collaborated with a wide array of talented artists from around the world to develop a style that is both distinctly global and grounded in the heart. His current brand of art-pop synthesizes an intent to entertain with a desire to seek and explore truths hidden deep within the psyche, all of this with the goal of creating music and art that brings about both enjoyment and healing.

In addition to music, Adam co-spearheads numerous enterprises with his wife and partner, Elizabeth Geuss, including BlueDorian Media Entertainment, a mixed-media production company which serves as a developmental cauldron for more extensive story-based projects. Founded by Adam in 2004, BlueDorian aims to promote cultural connectivity, self-actualization, and positive social change through the creation of fresh, new, and dynamic music, art, and entertainment.
